Dr. Ryan graduated from Harvard and Columbia University. He completed General Surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. He trained in cardiac, vascular and venous surgery under the esteemed physician Dr. Denton Cooley at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. He practiced cardiac and vascular surgery for ten years when he underwent treatment for a vein condition with dramatic relief of his symptoms.
Dr. Ryan has been practicing in the Mid-Missouri area since 1999, and he and his wife, a pediatrician, have 4 children.
